Is the sight cut for all kimber 1911's the same? I have a series 1 Ultra CDP with very dim night sights I want to replace.

My series II had "Kimber Cut" sights. No idea on the 1's.

I believe the "Kimber cut" dovetail is standard throughout all their models.

It's been known as the Kimber cut for as long as I've owned Kimbers. My oldest is from 97-98.

Thanks! I ended up finding a set of Trijicons(Kimber cut) locally and fit them yesterday. I'm very happy. They fit great with out any blending surprisingly. The Dawson's I used on my target gun needed much more work

How tight were they? Were they easy to replace (Easy being relative to the number of cuss words )

I have quite a bit of practice replacing sights so these were nothing new. I probably spent 30min fitting them to the slide.
