I just picked up a Silverback in 10mm and I don't know who makes these mags.

My Specialist mags has the DW and Checkmate logos on them. The 10mm mags only have the checkmate logo on it.

I called DW last week and the guy hesitatingly said mec-gar. I'm not sure if that's right since I don't see any 9rd mags on mec-gar's website.

Anyone know who makes the mags for the 10mm Silverback?

I am going to assume you mean to say that they only have the DW logo on them.

Do they have a base pad or are they flush? My 10mm V-bob mags have a base pad on them and only the DW logo. Keith said mine are Checkmate mags when I ask him. The follower that they have can be a give away as to who made them. Mec-Gar 10mm mag followers will have a round profile that the bullet sits on. Checkmates will have a patent number on them and be flat as well as have a front leg to prevent tipping forward. Metalform will be different than both of those.

Yes, mags have a rubber base, and a patent number on the follower. So, I'll assume they are check mate mags.

A patent search reveals the followers are CheckMate.

Interesting. I found a DW Classic in Commander size made in 2009 back in 2011. It was barely shot and I got it with the box etc and two mags. They have the DW logo and 10MM on them.



Later I found a Colt Delta Gold Cup lightly shot with box etc and two mags. Back then Colt was selling stuff on their website so I got a few extra mags in blue as they did not have them in SS. All the Colt mags work great in the DW.
