I guess Colt is back in business/selling to civilians ;) :biglaugh:

I went to my closest Gander Mt. today and saw 6 minty new Colt 1911's and promptly lost 2 lbs drooling. Let's see if I can remember what all was there... a NRM blued Commander, a NRM blue govt., a NRM stainless govt., a Defender, a stainless XSE Commander lightweight (?), and can't remember the last one for the life of me. It was great to see 6 new Colts, especially was drooling over the NRM blue Commander! The cost on that one was definately prior to the latest across the board raise. If I win the lotto, I'm heading back for that one!

Mongo,
Is it the new Gander Mtn in Joliet just off of 55? If so the sixth was a blued Gold Cup if I remember correctly. If the NRM Government model had been priced the same as the Commander it would be at my house right now, $789 for the Government Model. Asked and they wouldn't budge on price. Ever shoot at Mega down the street?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all!

Scott
Hi Scott... yep, that's the GM I'm talking about. HOW could I forget a blued Gold Cup?
I now do most of my shooting at Mega Sports with the occasional visit to Rinks. Sometimes traveling up and down I-55 can be quite frustrating to those who hate mounds of traffic.
