Wilson makes a mag well that clips on the grip screw bushings and then the grips hold it in place. It isn't the greatest, but will work in a pinch. They sell these in steel for about $25 or so.

The real secret is that they also made the same part in black plastic. These are on the Wilson "specials" page, and are $2 a piece.

The part is the Rogers EZ Loader magwell.

If you need a easy-on and easy-off magwell for that IDPA match and don't want to spend much money, these are serviceable and they do work. I bought 5 of them, just to have a few spares around.

Just thought I would pass this along to the "budget-minded" folks out there.

I checked it out. Bought three. Also got a 1911 sight mount for $10.

Thanks for the tip, G'masterB
