I know no other place to ask this question other then to you knowledgeable folks:)

Where is a good place to get all the smithing hand tools I will need to get started on customizing my Kimber II?

Also on a side note: Everyone knows the finish on the Kimber II stainless in dull. How difficult is it to polish the flats on the slide only? I think this would look nice.

Thanks in advance:D

Keep an eye on the for sale fourm as well, i have bought several tools from members that have completed projects and dont need them any more. Also, search this part of the board to find a cheap source for Craytex polishing bits. Do not attempt any gun work without a good vise, unless you have three hands. I have two diamond ez lap tools, they look like plastic popsicle sticks with diamond grit on them. Brownells sells them, and they are money well spent.
