Has any company ever put out a "Special Forces" commerative 1911? My cousin served in SF in VN and I thought I'd get him one if they exist. Maybe I'll have to go to Colt to have one specially made up - put his name, rank and service dates on it, De Oppresso Liber, that kind of stuff.

Then again, he may have carried a High Power.

I recall seeing one somewhere on an auction site. You can also try www.ahfrichmond.com for commemorative pistols. I bought my fathers USN commemorative there.

That is the one I remember seeing.
