I have a springfield GI and I am doing a complete overhaul on it. I am putting a beavertail grip safety,lowering the ejection port,new sights and other smaller mods.I saw this product in a catalog but I am kind of hesitant about it. A spray on gun coating that bakes on in your oven. Has anybody used it and if you have I would appreiciate any input on its durabilaty

I have used it many times. If prepped correctly it is a good durable finish. Not as tough as hard chrome or ceracoat.

I have a buddy that has used spray on DIY coatings with really good results. I am unsure how durable this stuff is though, my guess is it can be pretty durable with the proper care.
