Hello all.

I am new to the forum, and relatively new to the 1911. (My Christmas 2000 present from my wife was a Springfield full size 1911A1)

My question is about Springfield's web site. I simply cannot access it. Anyone know what the problem is?

That's strange I just tried it and it works fine. What does it do when you try to acces it? Maybe try again and hit your refresh button.

O.K., maybe this seems too simple, but let's make sure you've got the right address.

The SA website changed completely sometime around 3/1 and I still don't think they've got it quite right. I certainly still isn't finished (the dealer search routine for example still doesn't have all the dealers).

Also initially there were a couple of little JAVAs that didn't run quite right on everyone's machine, and I still think there's a couple of typos in the product information section.

i got it figured out. I was accessing through a firewall program that was blocking that site (but not any other gun site - great firewall, huh).
