I had ordered a loaded stainless longslide. It is now only available as the trophy match longslide I think. Mine was the same as the v-16 45 super model without the comp and the heavier springs. I can shoot 45 super if I get some heavy springs for mine. The pistol would not always lock open after the last round till it was broken in. Now it is perfect. The only issue with it is the sharp edges everywhere. I have stoned many edges but it can be better. The gun is very impressive. The slide fit required using your fist to pound the slide on and off when new. Now I can just give it a small hit and get it to move. I would recommend this gun to anyone , but run 200 rounds thru it new ( making sure it is oiled ) and do that 3 or 4 times before making judgements about the gun.
The loaded coupon was in the gun box with the other papers. Mine was nearly expired when I got the gun. I think springfield offers the program most of the time , your gun should have come with a coupon most likely. Call springfield customer service. They have an 800 number listed on their web site. I can tell you despite the delay the springfield folks have been great to deal with. They assured me that I would get what I paid for and ordered. I can understand that things get lost , not springfields fault . See if springfield is offering up the loaded coupons with new guns and buy when they are being offered as the deal is outstanding. I should have bought more mags and maybe an m6 scout knife as well.
