I was looking at professionals again (that's dangerous I know)and looks like there's an HRT on gunbroker and it seems to be the same one Larry Vickers used in his 1911 book.

Besides the green frame and serial number, is there any difference between an HRT pro and a regular one?
I looked through various other threads and was unable to find more info.

Here's the link for those of you with more money than me:

That takes me back Tom Clancy's book Rainbow 6. Sweet pistol!

Looks like nothing more than a railed Pro. Buy it and let us know.

These are really the two main big differences The Ramped barrel , the magell
with lanyard and the serial number being HRT vs CRG .

Great find

Good catch on the ramped barrel and lanyard loop. I figured there wouldn't be a lot of change from a regular pro besides the markings.

But, if there was some magic ingredient that makes the shooter never miss (I.E made with JMB's own tools) then I figured it would be used on the the HRT Professionals.

I'm not sure about that frame color though, I wonder why they decided on a bronzish tone.

$6500....?!
Can't be worth that as a shooter.
Is it really worth that as a collector piece?
Maybe I just lack imagination.....I readily accept that could be the case in this case...

Its a very rare pistol . As a collector it would be a prize in your collection .
A true HRT pistol . Not sold to the public

That’s too much cheddar for me. If I had that kind of money to spend I’d definitely buy it!
