A word of caution about using stainless steel bushes to clean the bore. Some years ago I tried a .22 caliber stainless brush in my Kimber 82A. Made (10) passes and the did some more testing of different brands of ammo. I found the accuracy had degraded considerably. Checked the brush to discover if filled with gray fuzzy stuff. Yes, it was steel from the bore. A visual examine confirmed the damage. The Customer Service representative at Kimber (of Oregon) told me he had seen rifles cleaned with a stainless steel brush that were smooth bores. I had the barrel replaced and haven't ever considered going that route on any firearms bores since. Center fire barrels are harder, but even a diamond wears in time.Just a word of caution.
