That round thingy in the middle must be the slide but it slides out SIDEWAYS
!!! You have to be real careful when you rack it or all the bullets fall out. I'll be damned if I can figure out how to top it off to 6+1

It's a beaut! SteveW is gonna be jealous!
Did you know you could do a tap, rap, bang with one of these? I didn't tell I saw Mikey do one.

HEY!!! I was just making sure the grips hadn't come loose
cause I heard that was a major contributor to misfires with these things. It ain't misfired once since I glued all the screws in

Please post details about the new revo. What make of grips are those?

A funny story from a local shooting club: We were running a malfunction clearance drill where someone else loaded an empty piece of brass into your magazine and then you shot the drill, clearing the malfunction as required. There was one revolver shooter in the group - an older law enforcement gentleman. He had the fastest recovery time at 0.3 seconds! It didn't take too long to work the trigger another time. Many pistoleros appreciated the wheelgun a bit more after that night.

vincent,

The grips are Hogue exotic wood (Pau Ferro) with optional finger grooves and checkering. The front sight is the SDM Super Sight which can be had from www.sdmfabricating.com

Mikey
With something like that I might just be able to shoot sharpshooter scores.

Hey Mikey, why don't you post a picture of your cheater holster too.

You got cheated, the mainspring housing isn't checkered.

Nice fit on the grip safety though, can't even see the line.

He's leaving the mainspring housing smooth so he can get the WAVE later. The grip safety was disabled.

Mikey,
Is that the same 610 you shot at the Ga. State Championships? I like the grips on that pistola there. Do you see an advantage of wood over synthetic grips, or is that a personal preference?

Steve,

It's the same one. The grips are a little thicker than the rubber Hogues, and I like that, but mainly I just like the look of wood. If I was a "real" Stealth Ninja I might go on a quest for the perfect grip but these work great for me.

Looks very cool Mikey. You gamer you...

What bullets are those? They almost look like a round nose. I am using Montana Gold 180 JHP's, but I am looking for something more pointed to help out my crappy reloads.

Tom, the bullets are West Coast .40/10mm 155gr RNFP's.

Tom,

What John said !

I had to go to a more pointed bullet so my (John Forsyth produced) gamer reloads would actually penetrate the cardboard targets! I was getting too many "dimpled chads"

They also help speed up the reloads

If he would buy powder
we might be able to produce loads that would actually go THROUGH the cardboard.

NICE gun, i have a 610 also, may have to spring for those beautiful wood grips. how doyou like the 155 grain bullets, do you or john know if they make that "pointy" of a bullet in 180, or even better 220 grain?
what kind of powder are you using?

Steve, they also have a 180, 200, and 220gr RNFP. I like the 155's. Light recoil, and in my single stack, fairly quick slide action. Easy to keep the sight where you want it. In the 610, no recoil at all.

Right now the powder of choice is VV N310. I have used VV N320, but I am getting better uniformity and cleanliness from N310. Remember these are GAMER loads. They make power factor, but not much more.
