I bought a nib Citadel M1911 A1 FS in .45 ACP about 4 months ago. It has performed flawlessly, with exception to 2-3 jams while using reloads. I have put around 300 rounds through it. I love this gun. The only problem I seem to have with it is that the magazine is very stiff or sticky when inserting it and removing it. I would like it to fall out into my hand when I supress the mag release. Any solutions or suggestions?

Check easy things first.

try different mag as TCro suggested

Check to make sure grip screws aren't protruding into the frame/magwell.

Check to make sure sear spring isn't protruding into frame/magwell .
To do that, look inside magwell at rear appx an inch from bottom.
you'll see a horizontal cut ..that's where the sear spring anchors in the frame .
Be sure it's flush and not sticking out past frame

If, as Cappi mentioned, it's sear spring or grip screw interference, there should be drag marks on the magazine. Everybody needs more magazines, the OE one dragging is an excellent excuse to obtain additional ones.
