I was shooting my 70 series government and was shooting some winchester whitebox after about 75rds I had a stove pipe.

I haven't had any stove pipes with my golden sabers or +P rangers.

I think the problem might be my 18.5# recoil spring combined with the lighter winchester bulk pack target round?

it seems like with the hotter rounds have a little more power to blow that slide back? is this anything to be worried about?

thanks for any tips

I use a 20# and it throws them way out...in (2 Colts, and 2 Kimbers).. Just recently switched to 18.5#, but I don't know why..I've never had a problem with ball ammo (239gr) using these springs, and never any limp wrist problems, even when I tried to make the gun fail by holding with 2 fingers.
