Praised be to the Lord!!!..Comes at a perfect time as the Crazies and Evil Doers in the NJ state legislations are after us again...

We have turned the corner at this point, still will have to fight every day to keep our rights but the TIDE is with us in a strong way!!!

Here is the NRA affiliates notice in NJ.

A HISTORIC day indeed and NY, NJ and the other Lefty states which have suffered too long and have led the road back on the front lines of this eternal war should be proud...

The few-ignorant in the gun community who over so many years have said we were fools for living were are families live, and it was a loss cause, should be ashamed of themselves!

However, being experts at bureaucracy the Dems in local power will "muddy the waters" with layers upon layers of application forms, delays, fees, etc. Oh wait........they already do that!!

Let us see how the local Admins. there handle the applications from this point on before we rejoice too loudly.

I wonder if the Supreme Court will go along with these red flag laws as it takes away a person’s right to keep and bear arms without any proof of wrong doing and a judge makes the ruling without a court trial and the accused doesn’t face the accuser, seems like there is no due process in this and more rights are being step on. Are we the people going to just stand by while these politicians shred the constitution and bill of rights?

Well, it seems we the people and SCOTUS are supporting the 2nd and 14th Amendment at the moment. There's no reason to think this same court wouldn't support the due process clause of the US Constitution.

But dude, chill. This is a big second amendment win for us. Enjoy it a little before crapping your shorts about laws that aren't even in place yet.

Don't get too excited about this. Post #5 has some validity. NY still uses discretionary methods when issuing permits. My guess is, NY will just issue way less of them citing various defects with the applicant. It may not necessarily hold in court but it will slow down the permits. Those who already have permits get the most benefit from the ruling.

The anti-2A States will find other ways to prevent permits from being issued, etc.

Red Flag laws will eventually be ruled on by SCOTUS, and RF laws will lose.

Governor was almost in tears, calling this a dark day, and she wants to go back to muskets, what a dummy. She also stated she was going to push legislation to raise the age to buy guns to 21, which by the way SCOTUS ruled against 6 weeks ago in a California case as violating the 2nd Amendment gun rights of California citizens. I see more NY cases going to SCOTUS or lower Appeals Courts backing this ruling and telling them to pound sand.

It's a great day for the Constitution of The United States of America!

Cheeze, no crap, of course they will not come easy - but they aren't going to fair well with this one, this is monumental, the TIDE has shifted in a huge way for the Lefty States.

We are already preparing our law suits in NJ. Don't forget Trump change the judicial make up in a very dramatic way, not just SC but the Districts and appellate too, the lefty isn't going to win this one, if it even gets to the appellate, the 2A POV will be supported.

You guys in free states have had it so easy so long you forgot how to fight.

Not trying to confuse you on the post but if you have been watching other post on this site you would know that the Red Flag law they are trying to make is modeled after the Red Flag law already in force in the state of Florida a complete rundown of it was posted here just a day or two ago. So my concern is very serious. But thanks for your input. 1911’s Forever

NY is a fountain of unconstitutional BS. They will flood their books with lots of unconstitutional crap, and then wait on the courts. It's a viable tactic.
NY is also pissing off SCOTUS by pulling their challenges back at the last second, because NY knows it would be a loss.

NY permitting will lose requirement to prove the need, and will lose the permit restrictions.

Just mind boggling that NY believes permitting (for vetted law abiding people) will impact criminals with guns. What Ho Chul means to say is, "we lost our ability to keeps guns out of hand of The People".
