That's because the picture is of a 3 volt model instead of the 6 volt in the link.

Actually, on the pics I've seen with the 6v installed, I kinda like it.

I think it looks more like a "business tool" instead of just a flashlight.

I guess it comes down to your personal preference, but I kinda like it. YMMV.
