I'd be interested in information also. I'm on the "verge" of purchasing a SW1911 DK .38 Super from the Performance Center and haven't been able to find more than a couple of posts on it. I'd like a little bit more info from someone who owns one prior to shelling out a bunch of money.

Anyone got one????

CCMDFD: Hmmmm....I wonder whether they have the skeletonized trigger now or the one like you got? I want the skeletonized trigger and don't want to have to have it put on aftermarket. Guess I'd better have my dealer call his distributor and ask prior to paying for one. Glad S&W took care of your gun. It's disappointing to have to send one back right away. Happened to me with a SIG SPORT STOCK (finish problem) and one of my Colt Special Combats (miscut slide). Both SIG and Colt made the guns rights and paid for shipping but I was still disappointed since they were NOT cheap guns. At least they ran 100% so maybe I shouldn't be so picky.

Oops...went back and fixed my post...I meant to say "skeletonized trigger".....good grief.

Your gun is just gorgeous.....I'm gonna order one tomorrow.....unfortunately I'll be out of town from 8-12 December and so it will sit at my dealer's until I can go on the 13th to pick it up....bummer. I'll post a picture once I get it and then a range report. Sure wish there was one locally for me to go buy...I HATE waiting... :grumble:
