I love my RIA Standard FS (#51431) 1911 .45 ACP!

1150+ rounds and it has ...still... never jammed, FTF, FTE, snafu, etc... whatever...

I bought my first Rock back in the early 2000's. They are all I have owned since then. I still have several other 1911's, but I shoot and buy Rocks now.

I have the 1911 MS, standard GI version. Love it. Functions very well. Haven’t had any problems.👍😎

That’s a good price. It’s hard to beat a Rock.
I totally agree since I own 2 Rock Islands I'm almost to pull the trigger on that one myself! (y)(y)

Back in 2000 I purchased my first 1911, fullsize standard 9mm with the HUGE billboard. Hated how bad the logo popped, but it chewed through everything. Reloads, factory, steel, brass...ect.
Tried to dull the logo by using the cold blue method...and lets just say...I ended up polishing all the blue off on both sides. Kept it for over a decade and loved shooting it.

Was so impressed that I contacted Arnel at Armscor and asked if he could build me a custom setup. I wanted a commander slide, with an officer grip chambered in 9mm. This was before they offered the CCO variant. A few weeks later got that thing and it jammed left and right...But they made sure to make everything right. Excellent customer service.

Moved so had to sell...and lets just say even though I couldve purchased many different brands...bought the RIA GI yesterday.
Pull the trigger (pun intended) and you'll be happy you did.
Girsan, Tisas, Bul and RIC are all good for the $$$ spent. I just picked up a 9mm RIC Tac Ultra and I'm very surprised at the build quality...
Give in to temptation!

I have had a full size SA1911, needed work when I bought it new in 2010, traded it away because it was unimpressive in feel to me.

A couple, three years ago I got an RIA 1911-A1 CS Tactical .45 ACP Model 51429 and never looked back! Out of the box excellent trigger and great fore/aft balance. Far and away better than the SA I paid double for. There are lemons and gems with all manufactures, I'm glad my Rock is a diamond.

We own two Rocks and have had nothing but positive experiences with them. We have minor cosmetic tweaks on them (don't care for factory MSH's), but nothing internal. Both have been 100% reliable; and the older of the two has been shot a lot. A whole lot.

Based on our experiences, we can heartily recommend RIA.

We trudge on.

Good deal for that price. Expect some issues with the gun, but a solid core gun. If you're willing to spend more, then buy a better brand.
Tisas are forged frame and slides.
For a low cost 1911, I would go tisa.
Tisas have a forged frame and slide.
The company said this year that fire control parts will also switch from mim to tool steel. That’s what they said anyway, time will tell if that is true.
I would buy a Tisa if looking for a low cost 1911.
It’s made of better parts than any armscorp.

I own both.
Both go bang. But one is better metal.
