Guys-
I recently purchased a second-hand custom 1911 worked over by Don Williams of "the Action Works"

It is a very nice '70 series indeed. Don was nice enough to take some time out of his busy schedule and answer each and every annoying question I had! Anyway, just wanted to give this guy a plug.

Anthony, let us know how it shoots.

Let me tell anyone who reads this post, if Anthony even 1/2 way likes it....

ITS A GOOD'EN!!
I recently bought a set of Ahrends Cordia grips for one of my 1911's from Don Williams and got great service too.

Very nice guy!
Spent some time talking to Mr. Williams when I was thinking about purchasing some grips that he may have coming in.

He special ordered exactly what I wanted right there and told me they are on the way. He actually called Mr. Speigel and told him exactly what I wanted and arranged that I get it in a timely manner
<-- That's a super happy face.

Talked some more about everything under the sun.

I'll be doing business with him again soon.

Thanks
Ross T.

That's good to hear. My Wickmann HP is due in today and was planning on getting new grips from The Action Works to finish it off.
Thanks guys. Now, does anyone know where I can get a bunch of 36 hour days? Like most in this business, we could use some.
