After thinking about which ones to post, here are my first and most recent Hawks. Spans almost 10 years, the Falcon was recently sent back "home" to be refinished- polished DLC. Not quite a very high gloss finish I wanted, but this looks great in person... The original Falcon is the last pic added.

Broke out my .38 Super Falcon & TRS-C for some 10yd rapid fire fun today. Ran the dot-equipped TRS-C first....pushed the Falcon the same rate of fire. Both ran silky smooth, however, there is no comparison in how much tighter shooting the TRS-C remained during fast paced recoil....immediate recovery....so dang flat.
The folks at Nighthawk engineer some buttery slick slide-to-frame fitting.
One of these days I'll get my skill level up to give them a better showing.
My NHC Classic by Joey Lehr is the one I got in spring of last year and is flawless. Polished flats, DOC. The President I got in 2021. DLC also. Both 45ACP. President has the IOS which I haven’t utilized yet. I’ve never had a RMR on a 1911, but I definitely plan to get one soon and try it out.
I’ve been planning on my next build. I’m really thinking about getting it in 9mm. I’ve never owned a 9mm 1911.

I’ve been planning on my next build. I’m really thinking about getting it in 9mm. I’ve never owned a 9mm 1911.
new SK grips for the President. These grips are getting just as addicting. I’m in the process of trying to trade my President with IOS and unused plate for an Alchemy Prime Charcoal Blue. I just absolutely love that model. I got back in the 1911 game as they quit taking orders for that model. That damn gun I can’t get off mind since I first seen pictures of it. Lol…
