#47DC has a thin steel pad. It's still not a flush fit though. They also sell the thin basepads as a retrofit for other #47 mags, but I don't know the part number.

I've tried the thinner, all-steel pads also. While better than the plastic ones for concealed carry, they still leave alot to be desired. If only Wilson could cut that last 1/8" down!

I replace the plastic ones with the steel ones as a matter of course; they're more durable. I've had the plastic ones wear out to the point where I'll go to slap a mag in and the base will slide off. They do still protrude, albeit a lot less.

Thanks Shane.I see they make steel and aluminum pads.Does anyone have a preference? Has anyone put these on CMC Power Mags?
