There seems to be another MIM rag going but without stepping into the fray it poses a question.

Does anyone make a billet (not MIM, not cast) machined from barstock thumb safety? I have checked Wilson, Nowlin, Brown, Kings etc. I don't see one, or they aren't identified as such in the parts description.

I suspect it is not a failure part and there is no reason to make one but I am collecting parts for my next rebuild and plan on using all top drawer parts and would just like to know.

Ideal is a extended tactical slide stop with checkering. The only source I have found is John Masen and I don't know anything about the quality.
