I never really panic buy as staying prepared is just a way of life but for the first time I'm considering going a bit deeper on some supplies. Anyone else unusually nervous these day?
If you guys are talking about ammo now it is a great time to buy.
A strong dollar means copper, lead & tin cost less. That equals lower cost ammo.
I've noted a pattern. When the dollar drops in value as it did after the 2008 bank bail outs about 3 months later ammo prices started rising. I've noted the same pattern each time the dollar has taken a dip since then.
Line all that up against a strong US economy and you get great ammo prices.

It is a constantly evolving process. Currently looking at putting a couple more drums of fuel back in the pole building. Trying to get a couple more cords of wood put up, Ordered a case of .38 Super ammo yesterday as SG ammo had a good price on Fiochi. And I need to get a few more chains for the Stihl, as well as bar oil. There is always something that needs attention.
