Nice but not nice enough to buy another Tisas like the 2 I now own. At least it looks different and some new features unlike a new Glock..... that is just like the old Glocks but a different number engraved on it.

I'm not onboard with cutting holes in the slides. Whoever thought that was a good idea has never cleaned a pistol...or tried to keep one clean.

But the "Match" could be promising!

Nothing, in fact many would encourage it. But there is also nothing wrong with buying a Turkish made gun that competes favorably with domestic offerings. After all, your purchase does support the LGS and the importer.

I get it, but you can say that about any 1911 manufacturer. (foreign or domestic) You can't go to the local range and try out the vast majority of domestic made guns... few have more than 1 or 2 1911's in the rental fleet.

Tisas USA says they are transitioning to all machined tool steel parts and that currently the only remaining MIM part is the recoil spring cap.

Now that Turkey has put a $500,000 bounty on Enes Kanter Freedom, I'm less inclined to purchase a Turkish gun. While I am not one to boycott at a whim, there are other alternative 1911's to buy.
