hey guys..

So I got my Wilson Combat trigger and it won't fit into the slot to where the stock trigger is. I did some small filing on the top and bottom but I think the trigger is thicker than the stock....has anyone else have that problem?

Which trigger are you all using that changed out the stock trigger?

I put a Wilson trigger in a 91 Colt Commander. Yes removal of material on the bottom and top but it fit fine after that. Switched out other parts also. Save the old parts when you do this.

The 1911 is not a drop in part gun like the polymer wonders of today. Pretty much every part will need fitting for correct and sage function.

No two 1911s have the exact same dimensions. Thus the need for fitting. Brownells sells stones for the trigger track.

I oversanded my top/bottom/left/right and it ended up being loose. So I ended up going back to stock. Oh well, you live and you learn.
