I normally only load 185 gr in my 45. I use 5.3 Titegroup and get excellant results in my Kimber. I did play around a little with 200 gr. I loaded some at 5.5 and they seemed a little hot for target and general plinking. Leading was more with these than with the 185 load.
My response is really more regarding the metering problems you are having. I am using the Dillon Powder Measure and am having very good consistency. During the first 12 - 15 loads I have to adjust but after that it always holds the same charge. I have loaded over a period of days without having to adjust my setting. How much variation are you getting?
