Anyone use Tiregroup? If so, how much and bullet weight?

I'm generally disappointed with Titegroup, given all the hoopla in the gun press about how great it is. I couldn't do much with it in either 45 or 40, but did manage to work up one good load in 10mm. Maybe I'll load enough of them so I don't end up using that pound of Titegroup for starting fires.

180 grain Hornady JHP, 5.4 grains TG, 1.155" overall cartridge length. It's pretty stout, but then 10mm doesn't seem to work too well loaded down much. Holds about an inch out of a Glock 20 at 15 yards.

Some of the brothers from Aurora, Steve, Steve, Rob and Deano, are using it in their STI 40's and seem to like it. I still have way too much N320 to switch.

Stop by the Aurora gun club next Saturday morning and I can point you in their direction. Better yet, come to Pueblo tomorrow for our monthly IPSC match.

40 S&W:

4.1 grains Titegroup under a 185 grain Laser Cast 1911 bullet gives 900 FPS, just making a power factior of 166. It's a great load.

38 Special:

5 grains of Titegroup under a 130 grain FMJ makes the ICORE power factor of 120. Accurate load.

45ACP:

4.5 grains of Titegroup makes a 166 power factor for IPSC and IDPA with a 200 grian cast bullet.
