I can't concentrate.

For Christmas I got Colt Series 70. Great, that's what I wanted.

But I want something to stick in my pocket and carry around.

So yesterday, I was comparing .40 HK, Walther and XD's, all in sub-compact.

Then it dawned on me, why not just get a .45 in Ultra Compact.

So the comparison shifted from the HK (which I still want...the other two have been ruled out) to others to the HK to the Kimber.



How many Ultra choices are there? I see at least three, the Ultra, the Ultra CDP, the Elite? Is that it? Price is not a problem, I'm just trying to decide between fit, finish, sights, etc.

I think there are actually 9 ultra models being made right now. Look for yourself http://www.kimberamerica.com/pistols/. I have the ultra carry and the ultra cdp. I like both but would recommend the cdp as a better carry gun. I did change out the grips but nothing else.
