I have a fellow who wants to trade me his Colt Commander (made in 2006) stainless. for my Springfield Champion Operator Lw. He wants me to give him 50.00 difference as well. I have never fired my Champion since I just bought it in July of this year. Do you think that would be a ggod trade for me, or am I better off keeping my Champion. Just need a little advice since I know little about the Colts Value.

If I was to trade it would be even, it's pretty much comes down to personal preference, me I like Springfield no BS customer service i don't know much about Colts CS but I would say it's to notch add well, are you unhappy with your Springer?

Why does this fellow want to trade off his Colt? Is something wrong with it?

If you are seriously considering the trade, shoot his gun before you do. Heck, shoot yours before you do!!!!

You may find you like your Springer better than his Colt.

Was going to say the same thing? Fire your new Springfield to see how it operates. Than fire the colt, compare? The you have a choice to make keep or sell the Springfield?
Its all on operation and how you feel about the weapon.
Best of luck.
