Received an e-mail from Tripp today announcing availability of their 10 rd. 9mm mags. I called, spoke with Virgil and ordered a few to try.
Should be the ticket for the gamesmen among us.

I have two of the prototypes. Virgil built my 9MM Caspian and at the time the mags were in the concept stage but true to his word he gave me first crack at them. I used them at IDPA nationals back in October and they ran like a charm. The way he figured out how to add that tenth round is really slick and they field strip like a conventional mag.

From the look of the dimples in the first picture, the magazine has an internal spacer in the rear end. I'd like to see the follower's shape.

all 4 that I ordered prematurely engage the slide stop and lock the slide back with one round left in the magazine.

I guess either the follower lip is too high or my slide stop follower engagement is too low. Its an STI Trojan 5" gun.
