After taking apart my new TRP to clean for the first time, I noticed that the extractor had the last 3 numbers of the serial # engraved on it. Is this normal on all Springfields? Also, where on the gun does it say "made in Brazil"? I couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks.
Rick.

Raputzel...by TRP are you referring to the Professional Model?

I don't know about the TRP but I do know that the Pro Model does have the last 3 numbers of the serial number engraved on all the parts of a particular weapon. The weapons are hand fitted and it helps to keep the same parts together with the same frame/slide set. Also nice in an environment where you are cleaning a group of guns in the same area....like a SWAT team, etc, then you always can get your gun together with all of its handfitted parts.

Cheers!
