Just curious to get some opinions from those that have both the older blue box version (Serial 210000 range) Vs the new run in the black box (Serial 410000 range).

Just picked up a new one and haven't had a chance to take it to the range but noticed a few differences (Mainly roll marks and a couple little cosmetic slight variants).

Hammer strut seems to be a bit wider in the new model. I have a half rail in the 200000 range and it is identical to the older full rail.

Basically curious if anyone has noticed any difference in quality either direction.

I have a blue box, and bought another one in the new black box. I didn't notice any differences.

Combat vet, got your PM and appreciated. Riddicc99, I have the same and am pretty sure I'm going to have the same opinion. Trigger broke at exactly 4.5 with just a few racks and oiled up. Still no range time yet though. And still looking for that perfect holster.
