I have an STI in 45acp with a couple mags that do not work well. Could someone explain how to tune them? Are gauges available?

The main issue to address seems to be the feedlip dimesions, and they are listed on sti's website under the FAQ section. Some outfits, like grams engineering, also tune the internal dimensions of the body of the tube too. I have some mags with this type of work done, and they are absolutely marvelous and as long as the springs and follower are in good shape, they work 100%. You might look into getting a new spring and follower set, I personally prefer the new generation of the grams engineering brand.
