I bought my wife an EMP. Liked it so much I got one for myself. We have 250 rounds through both. No stove pipes, FTFs or other problems. The guns are highly accurate considering the short barrel system. I am thoroughly amazed by the quality of these firearms. Kudos to Springfield for making such a fine product.

When EMP first came out, it was more like either it works, or it don't friggin' work at all.
And more didn't work than worked.
So I never bothered to look at one.

But may be they have worked out any bugs by now. May be I should look in to it again...

I have had an EMP 40 for several years. It only had feeding problem at first, but a warrantee trip to SA fixed than. Still does not like LSWC rounds, but it has be perfectly reliable since with other round types.

One contributor to the reliability of both of our EMP'S is the surface of the feed ramps. They are both polished to a mirror shine. They are as nice as any I have seen including my Wilsons.
