Got two new (to me) 1991s this year.

Both are lightly used and in excellent shape.

The first one was found this summer for $495., a full size G.I., I replaced the recoil spring, barrel link, and main/hammer spring and it runs like a champ.

The second I got just recently for $399., a compact/officers size, nothing needed to be done to make it perfect, it actualy outshot the fullsize until I made the affore mentioned changes, now they are dead on even.

They are both running Chip Mcormic shooting star mags.

They make a great pair and will be my main carry guns from now on, I'm totaly pleased with my purchases.

I plan on keeping them mostly stock for carry guns, I have a "custom" 1911 I built for IDPA style competition.

Nice. I'd do the upgrade on the bbl bushing for the Officers model though (a known weak spot in the design).
