Hey guys. I'm looking for pics of an Ultra carry with an ARCHED MSH. I know that most people don't use them so I'm not sure if anyone here actually has this setup. I've got monster hands and without the Arched MSH the flat 1911 grips are like little twigs in my hands.

Thanks.

I'd like to see that too. I was thinking about putting an arched msh/ SA magwell on my little Ultra to give a little more grip surface.

The Officer ACP frame is too smal for a full arched mainspring housing. This is a wedge on the same size frame. A truncated arch.

I've got a "Compact Custom" - same "Officer's" size frame, and a 4" slide. Same sort of arched MSH, too - a "wedge". I found mine (from Brownells) to be a tad sharp at the bottom edge, so I took the Dremel to it.

Normally, Dremel tools should be left hidden :) , but every once in a while....

(Chuck's pic is a Para LDA, btw, which is why the hammer appears to be missing. The Compact Custom is a Kimber SA.)

Regards,
