Went to the range today and fired about 21 rounds. On the last round I had a failiure to feed 3 times.

The gun was just cleaned, lubed with Tetra oil(trying it out) and I had a 7 rnd black Wilson mag and a new slide release that Kimber sent me about 6 mos ago.

Any ideas as to why? Is theis 1911 more prone to trouble because of it's light weight? Limp wristing 3 times on the last round?

The gun has approx 500 to 750 rnds total thru it.

Thanks for any input.

ps Thanks to all Vets out there for the freedom we enjoy! God Bless!

Yes, I only brought one mag with me...it's brand new. I guess I'll try it with different mag later this week.

Thanks
