Did anyone ever hear of the story with there being a razor, some matches, and a .45 pistol in the truck at the top of the post's flag pole? Supposedly if the post is ever over ran, the last man leaving the post is to lower the flag, get the truck down and open it. Then use the razor to cut up the flag, use the matches to burn it, then shoot themselves with the .45. Any truth to this old tale? It may be BS but I'm not the only one to repeat this story. Is it true? Imagine if there were a SINGER in one of those trucks?!
