I just noticed that the rear sight on my carry gun , if pushed with a minimum amount of force, will slide from one side to the other with a click.

Is this normal.

AND YES! I know, stop pushingthe freakin' sight.

Seriously, I have never had a fixed rear sight that would move side to side like this.

Normal? well yes and no. Stacking of tolerances mean that some sights on the small end will wobble in a dovetail that is on the large end of spec.

So it happens, that is why you see some sights with set screws. You can use some loctite to get it to hold itself down, although you'll want to figure out where you want the sight first since you can't drift the front sight on a V10 to correct for windage.

Or else I'm sure SA will be able to remedy the problem if you can send it to them.
