I saw a Wilson Master Comp LE (? don't remember the exact name) in a gunshop for asking price of $995.
It was a hard chromed Series 70 Colt Govt with blued slide, Bomars and extended barrel compensator. Looked original except for grips and skeleton hammer but appeared to be in excellent condition. They had a 1988 catalog with it so I assume that's the year it was built.
I'm not familiar with early model Wilson's and not a fan of comps, but if the price was right...
Does anyone know a street value? Were these a "Master Grade" level gun? Any collectors value?
TIA,
JSP
