Hogs are a problem in our area, but I'm not into spearing one and then watching it bleed out. Not very sportsmanlike in mho. Blow them up, shoot them, knock them in the head with a hammer, but put them down quick. Stuff is going to hit the fan when Animal rights people see this.

I thought hogs were why the 338 Federal cartridge was developed. to humanely dispatch wild hogs quickly and efficiently. That reminds me of people that say you can kill a deer with a 22 lr, you can, but it not pretty.
