Anyone have any of the VZ Thin grips for their SIS Ultra? I have been thinking about getting a couple extra sets of grips for my pistol. The original wood grips are still in great shape and I would like to keep them that way. Do they make grips for the Ultra? Any other suggestions for thin grips for a Kimber Ultra? I need an ambi cut.

I'm pretty sure you'll also need to change out your grip bushings. Brownells sells them for $13.

Larry Davidson also sells slim grips. I put a set on a Colt Officer's model and like them. One note, they don't cover/support the plunger tube like regular grips do.

When you order the slim grip bushings, make sure you order the correct driver bits. They are worth their weight in gold. No mangled bushings!
