Just curious. I have never seen one before and now a fellow is showing one around. He says it's factory original but I never even heard of any 5" Anacondas. Anyone know the score?
Was the Anaconda offered with a 5" barrel?

Yep, Colt made the Anaconda in 4" 5" 6" and 8".
The 5" models aren't real common.

That's the same gun I was talking about. I sure didn't know they made any 5" guns. The only evidence of authenticity is the owner's word (not that I doubt him) and another writer's comment about seeing another. I still would like to see something concrete. I called Colt and the dumbest woman in the world answered the phone. She kept wanting to connect me to archives thinking I wanted the history on a particular gun when all I wanted was someone to tell me if this model was offered in 5". Oh well. Live and learn.
