Waxahachie mini-Bash

I have tentatively set the dates for the Waxahachie mini-Bash for January 21 & 22, 2023. It will be held at ETTS in Waxahachie, Texas. The itinerary will be like all others: meet at the range office at around 8:15 AM, then shoot all day Saturday and Sunday. The range is located at 620 Greathouse Rd., Waxahachie, Texas.

All who wish to attend can PM me and I will put you on the roster. If there is an ice storm, it will get re-scheduled, otherwise it will be held on time. You can shoot half of a day, all day, come when you want and leave as you want, this is an informal "buddy shoot" to celebrate our guns rights by a bunch of friends (sometimes new friends), with plenty of varying drills. Everyone always has a great time. For those that are new, or need a refresher, I can send out an itinerary as time gets closer.

I am sorry we had to miss it this year. Roger it was just too far a drive. Will see you guys in Berryville and Youngstown this year.

The "metric ton" was due to fj40 - he always goes beyond the courtesy that most folks show. Thanks to all that chipped in to provide me with the third steel silhoutte and stand. It is always fun to host these get-togethers, and I will do it as long as I can. Be blessed guys.

Roger,

Thank you for hosting this event every year.
I know alot of time/planning/effort goes into putting this event together. You do this purely out of goodness of your heart and the love you have for shooting community. I cannot fully convey just how much I appreciate the effort you put in for our benefit. Your instructions/teachings are very valuable and I always learn something every time I'm with you.
RSOs were very helpful and I always enjoy the comments from the peanut gallery.

Good shooting, GREAT friends, and food. What else can you ask for?

Looking forward to Berryville.

Well, since you live in north Texas you’ll only need a few mules to get to waxahachie next time. Not all 2000.

There will be a sign-up announcement for next year's Waxahachie mini-Bash sometime in October of this year. The mini-Bash is usually around the third weekend of January each year.

I will keep an eye out, I’m north of the metroplex and I will be sure to join in October.

May is the Arkansas Bash- but I think it's already full. The next Waxahachie trip is in Jan '24 but the sign up will get posted in Oct. Look forward to meeting you next year!

In the first and second picture, from left to right: (front) my lil' bro (rapidfire56), behind him is fj40's guest, to his left is myself, then TexasAC, flechero, and fj40. The person taking these photos was participating in teh event but is not a member here.
