Wilson

Wilson had a book called "Combat Customizing the 1911" which I own, and it is a good addition to the Kuhnhausen books. You can find it on Ebay sometimes, but it's out of print. Don't buy the other one he has in print right now called "The Custom 1911". They are totally different books, and the new one is a waste of money.

I just started tinkering with my 1911's and bought the Kuhnhausen Volume II. What does Volume I have that I'm missing. The book is awesome.

MEH92,

I found when I began "Tinkering" with 1911's that Kuhnhausen's Volume I was more useful. I saw Vol I as basic and Vol II as more advanced information for building / custom work.

That's my book review, Art
