At a large gun show today a dealer with a good supply of Colt 1911's had the new 1991 with the small roll marks on his table at what seems to me to be a fantastic price, $481, NIB. If I had been in the market for another .45 I would have snapped it up. Probably should have anyway. Thinking about it I believe I will give him a call tomorrow. With my luck it will be gone or a special show price.

Whit:

If this is this dealer's regular price will you let me know?

Thanks!

I got my new roll-marked government for $475. The first member in this forum to get a new government paid $435 for his. Both from gun shows. I'd say $450-$480 is the norm for these.

Brent, as far as I know it was his regular price. I talked to a guy after the show who had done business with the dealer before and he said he was usually cheaper than most of the other large dealers.
