Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone on the list has noticed differing performance from different brands of ammo. My Chuck FS was giving me fits with Aguilla, American Eagle and other cheap ammo. I went through and tried a new extractor, FP stop, and two different mags with no help. When I tried Winchester Golden Sabre and Winchester 185gr silvertip hollowpoints, they fed fine with the original extractor and in all mags.
Is it just my Chuck, or do they all dislike cheap ammo?

I use Magtech and Hydrashocks in mine with no problems but I tried Corbons 185 +P and it failed to extract them 2 out of 6 times.

Thanks! It seems like each Chuck has it's own personality. I might have gotten a bad batch of American Eagle. Several catridges were badly crimped, with buldging cases and wouldn't go in to battery. On one of them the bullet was back in the casing about 1/4 inch too far. I'll try a new box and see what happens.
