I haven't been around the Forum lately, but as near as I can tell its been a long time since he made an appearance. Does anybody know what happened to him?

If you are lurking out there Mark, are the new/old 1911a1's available yet?

I'm guessing that Colt's future plans are not going to include the civilian market in any large degree. Maybe Mark doesn't get the internet anymore where he lives.

What other market is there? Is Uncle Sam giving up on the M9 and going with Colt Cowboys, instead? Colt has been building guns by the million, for over 150 years; how would not selling guns to the public now improve their situation?

i think colt is going back into the civilan market, after they pulled off most of there guns from the civilan market and concentrating on the custom shop guns, they are now bringing back the anaconda, 1991, python and (police positive? they were tested and passed in kalif under BS15)
