What is the Highest Serial have you seem on colt WWI (01911) so far I have seem 5352wmk, I am wanting to know what the cut off number is from colt, also I have seem on the new 01918 1200WWI so far..

It is my understanding that they made 5000 (O1911). Serial numbers started at 1000 cut off would be 6000WMK.

If they stuck to an even 5000, then the highest we should see will be 5999WMK as they started at 1000WMK.

I'm guesing that they stopped a bit short of the 5,000-unit run and went straight into the 01918 models.

well like I said I have seem 5352wmk. that cool ANY Ideal about how many of the new 01918 will be made, I can see colt doing about the same and move on to do a U.S. NAVY 1911 OR A CIVILIAN VERSION NEXT???
