looking through all the posts i haven't been able to find the semi-official retail price for the new sig 1911. i read a lot of rumors.

does anyone know the retail price?

I just put a down payment on one. Cost me $849.00 + tax.
Supposed to be in early next year.

That sounds about right for a suggested retail of $1100. I'm surprised anyone is discounting them this soon though. Good for you, that pistol blows every other $850 1911 out of the water!

Just did a search for "Scottsdale Gun Center" via Google. What came up was Scottsdale Gun Club. Looks like you have to have a feather in your cap and patches on your elbows to get in the stinkin' place. I'll have to check out the Scottsdale Gun Center.

Avoid Scottsdale Gun Club. You want Scottsdale Gun Center---Whole different attitude.

They will ship out of state for a nominal fee. Their number is 480-874-1383.

BTW, I have no connection with them other than being a satisfied customer.

All you have to do is ask somebody out-of-state buy it for you and then ship it back to you.

Or, you could just order it from Sporting Arms. I spoke with them today, and they said they'd have it for $879. I, however, will have to pay 8.25% sales tax if I buy from them.
